Well, first, I want to say that I really do believe in true love. It is why I love what I do – because all the brides we are working with – they are at the beginning of this great journey. I cannot tell you how great it feels to be a part of that. I have been married for 14 years and have two kids. When you come to our store, you can see a picture of me and my husband the day we got married… and laugh at the insanely large puffy sleeves that were all the rage when I got married. Maybe I was driven into the Bridal business to rectify that wrong, praying that if I could stop just one bride from wearing a dress as awful as mine – I would have great success! I guess the truth of why we got into this business, is that both Michelle and I get the same feeling that a lot of brides get when they walk in to a beautiful store, and see pretty dresses. We were giddy! It was fun! It is exciting! We try to make sure that every bride that walks into our store gets that same feeling, and walks out having enjoyed their time with us, and confident in purchasing their gown at Belle Mariée Bridal.

I have been in retail since I was 15 years old (I won’t tell you my age… but trust me, it has been a long time!). In High School, I designed and would sew the gowns I would wear to Prom and Homecoming. At University of California, Berkeley, I graduated with a degree in Communications and Marketing – which comes in handy as we grow our little business. Michelle and I were great friends before starting this adventure together – and she is an amazing partner. I know I couldn’t grow our business without her. So, we hope we have the opportunity to meet you – and helping you find that special gown.
